CPU Test
This CPU test loads every thread in your browser and reports throughput over time. Use it to check cooling and stability, or as a quick speed check. Nothing is installed or uploaded.

About this tool
Each worker thread runs floating-point and integer math in a tight loop. We report operations per second for the whole CPU and compare the end of the run with the start. A falling number points to thermal or power throttling.
How to read the results
The chart shows operations per second across all threads. The summary compares the start of the run with the end. Steady means throughput held. Slight fade is normal on laptops. Throttling likely means it fell by more than about 15%. The variation figure shows how uneven the line was.
Temperatures and throttling
Browsers cannot read temperatures, so pair the test with a monitoring tool and check that clock speed and temperature stay steady. The thermal throttling guide applies to CPUs too.
How to use it
- Pick the number of threads and a duration.
- Keep the tab in the foreground.
- Stop at once if the system becomes unresponsive or very hot.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a real CPU benchmark?
It is a relative test of your own machine over time. Results are not comparable with Cinebench or Geekbench.
Why is the score lower than in desktop tools?
Browsers limit threads, run JavaScript rather than native code and share the CPU with other tabs.
How many threads should I use?
All threads gives the heaviest load and the best test of cooling. Half or one thread helps separate a cooling problem from a single-core boost limit.
Is this a benchmark like Cinebench or Geekbench?
No. It measures relative sustained throughput on this machine, so use it to compare before and after a change, not against other computers.
