Free Online GPU Benchmark

Run a GPU benchmark without installing anything. Your graphics card renders a demanding scene in your browser while we record every frame, then turn the run into a score, 1% and 0.1% lows and a five-axis verdict.

About this tool

What the benchmark measures

A good benchmark reports more than one number. We measure average FPS, the slowest 1% and 0.1% of frames (the ones you feel as stutter), frame-time stability and whether performance holds from start to finish. Each test then reports its own named score, so you can see where a card is strong or weak.

  • 3D Render: geometry, lighting and fill rate.
  • Shader Math: raw arithmetic throughput.
  • Texture and VRAM: memory bandwidth.
  • Volume Shader: heavy ray-marching.
  • WebGPU Compute: modern compute pipelines.

How it compares with 3DMark

It does not try to replace it. Browser tests are limited by WebGL and WebGPU, so scores cannot be compared with 3DMark, Unigine Heaven or any other tool. They are well suited to checking stability, tracking your own results and spotting problems. For desktop options, see our 3DMark and FurMark alternatives.

How to read the results

Look at three things in order. First the average FPS, which tells you how much work the GPU finished. Then the 1% and 0.1% lows: a big gap between the average and the lows means stutter even when the average looks good. Finally the SMG Verdict, which scores power, steadiness, endurance, pacing and spike control from 0 to 100 and adds a tier from S to D.

The class score (about 2,000 for a steady 60 FPS) lets you compare runs made at different settings on the same site. A result that sits at your display’s refresh rate is capped, so raise the intensity before you draw conclusions.

How to run it

  1. Close other tabs and apps that use the GPU.
  2. On a laptop, plug in power and use the high-performance graphics mode.
  3. Pick a test, a duration and an intensity, then press Start.
  4. Read the verdict, then run again after a driver update or a hardware change to compare.

Frequently asked questions

How do I benchmark my GPU for free?

Open any test on this site, press Start and wait for it to finish. No account, download or payment is needed.

What is a good score?

Scores are specific to this site. Look at your class score and verdict, and compare with your own earlier runs. About 2,000 class score corresponds to a steady 60 FPS.

Why is my result capped at 60 FPS?

Browsers lock animation to the display refresh rate. Raise the intensity or resolution scale to find the limit of your GPU.

Why is my score different every time?

Small differences are normal. Background apps, power mode, temperature and the browser's own scheduling all move the result by a few percent. Run it two or three times and compare the middle value.

Can I compare my score with other websites or 3DMark?

No. The score is specific to this site's tests and formula. Use it to compare your own runs, or against the community median on the leaderboard if the site owner has turned that on.
