Graphics Card Test
This free graphics card test checks your video card in under a minute. It shows which GPU your browser is using, what it supports, and gives a verdict on performance and stability. It works with NVIDIA, AMD, Intel and Apple graphics.

Before you start
GPU stress tests can significantly increase GPU load, temperature, power draw and fan speed.
Stop the test if your system becomes unstable, overheats, crashes or behaves unexpectedly. Do not run extreme tests on hardware with known cooling problems. This website cannot guarantee hardware safety.
This is a deliberately punishing test. It can push your GPU to its thermal and power limits for minutes.
- Laptops: plug in the charger and make sure the vents are clear.
- Make sure your GPU is cooled properly. Do not run this with known fan or cooling problems.
- Save your work and close other important tabs. A weak or overheated GPU can make the screen flicker or the graphics driver reset, which may close apps.
- You can stop at any time with the Stop button or the Escape key. The test also stops itself if frames take more than two seconds.
Long run: this test keeps the GPU busy for five minutes or more, so your computer will get warm. Laptops should be plugged in. You can stop at any time with the Stop button.
About this tool
- Detection: the GPU name and vendor, and whether a software renderer is being used instead of real hardware.
- Support: WebGL, WebGL 2 and WebGPU.
- Performance: FPS and frame times under load.
- Stability: whether performance holds over the run.
- Memory: the VRAM test probes video memory.
How to read the results
Start with the verdict summary: if it says the run was steady, the card handled this load without slowing down or hitching. Warnings about low scores usually mean a software renderer, a power-saving mode or the wrong GPU being used on a laptop. Compare the class score with earlier runs of your own to see change over time.

How to test your video card
- Open the GPU info tool to see what the browser reports.
- Run the Quick GPU Check above.
- If the verdict shows problems, run the GPU health check.
If the card name is missing, your browser may be hiding it for privacy.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my graphics card is working properly?
Run the Quick GPU Check. A healthy card gives steady frame times, stable performance and no artefacts or crashes.
Can I test a graphics card without downloading anything?
Yes. Everything here runs in the browser.
Why does it show the wrong GPU?
Laptops often have two GPUs and browsers may pick the integrated one. Set the browser to use the high-performance GPU in your system graphics settings.
What do VGA and GFX mean?
Both are older or shorthand terms for the graphics card or its output. These tests apply to any of them.
Does this test work for integrated graphics?
Yes. Integrated graphics from Intel, AMD and Apple run the same tests. Expect lower scores than a dedicated card; that is normal.
